POST 3: AN ARTIST THAT INSPIRES YOU

 

Monserrat Bustamante, better known as Mon Laferte, is a Chilean singer-songwriter, musician and composer.

He was born on May 2, 1983 in Viña del Mar Chile. He is 38 years old. Play different instruments, such as guitar, piano, drums, electric bass, and harmonica. In 2003 he appeared for the first time on Chilean television, on the talent search program “Rojo Fama Contrafama”. Then he resigned and went to live in Mexico. He has won eleven awards at the Latin Grammys.

It is characterized by being influenced by different musical genres, such as ballads, pop rock, boleros, cumbia, etc.

She is an artist who is always attentive to the social context, which according to me is the right thing to do. Express your opinion through your music, social networks. She inspires me because I identify myself, she is a woman, Chilean, and she was not born in a golden cradle and advanced in art without having to sell herself, at least it shows.

I don't know what my favorite artwork is. To say the least, one of the most recent could be the song “Plata Ta Tá”. I remember that the first song I heard was “Si tú me quisieras”, I listened to it on the street and then I looked for it on YouTube, then I listened to it daily.
